My Philosophy:
You scored as Justice (Fairness). Your life is guided by the concept of Fair Justice: Everyone, yourself included, should be rewarded and punished according to the help or harm they cause.

"He who does not punish evil commands it to be done."

--Leonardo da Vinci

Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace.

Freedom of Religion: For Everyone, Everywhere

Poor Abdul Rahman. He lived in Germany, where there is freedom of religion. He forgot that freedom of religion only applies to non-Muslims who convert to other faiths. Muslims aren't allowed to follow their individual consciences. If you're born a Muslim, then in your entire life you will never, never have a choice about what religion to belong to.

Because if you convert from Islam to another faith, good Muslims have a right -- no,... (more)

Average Christian
You're not going to become a minister anytime soon, but you do your best to live your life in a Christian way. This means that although you probably don't attend church every Sunday, you do your best to follow the Ten Commandments, help the needy and generally be an all around good person. Who needs to follow the entire bible anyways? It was written ages ago, and Christ transmuted it by giving his life.

Take the quiz: "WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?"

Both Sides of the Story

Here we are all gathered in what seems to be the centre of the storm
neighbours once friendly now stand each side of the line that has been drawn
they've been fighting here for years, but now there's killing on the streets
while small coffins are lined up sadly, now united in defeat
We always need to hear both sides of the story

Like other members of the inner circle, I have been busy thinking about such concepts as faith and religion. A while back, I promised 'Eno that I will write something about faith. And events have prompted him and the others to beat me to the punch and present their... (more)

You are a Samurai.
You are full of honour and value respect. You
are not really the stereotypical hero, but you
do fight for good. Just in your own way. For
you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil
person, if it is for justice and peace. You
also don't belive in mourning all the time and
think that once you've hit a bad stage in life
you just have to get up again. It's pointless
to concentrate on emotional pain and better to
just get on with everything. You also are a
down to earth type of person and think before
you act. Impulsive people may annoy you
somewhat.

A Reason to Believe

if I listen long enough to you
I'd find the way to believe that it's all true
knowing that you lied.......
.....still, I'd look to find a reason to believe

That was supposed to be an (un)love song, but I find the words striking home in a somewhat more profound way. I've never been able to fully accept the fact that most people, sometimes even myself, are so influenced by other people's perception of them. As in the commercial, I've always believed that U are U, nothing can ever take away your very self, so why do most people try so hard to be just like everyone else. Cogito ergo sum becomes...
Being About Something
by Henry Velez

I've noticed an interesting paradox. Some people don't really have much of an interest in hobbies or goals, they just seem to have lots of free time and aren't much concerned to do anything with it. To these people someone will eventually come along to tell them, "Get a life!" And then there's another group of people, who have perhaps one or two hobbies/goals they devote almost all their time and energy into. To these people someone will eventually tells them the same thing, "Get a life!"

Well, I just figure the first group is probably still in the "I'm... (more)

Choices

Choices that we make will have consequences in our life. Most people would agree with that statement. But how many of us actually make our choices after considering the consequences. Seems to me that most people I know make their choices based on the consequences of not making any choice at all. For instance, do you chose to find employment to make money, or do you actually do so because you don't have money. This might seem like nitpicking for most people, but how many people realize that there are consequences that you must face for making that choice. Let's face it, I'm poor, dirt-poor, if...
